I drove around burbank last night and beyond the occational boarded up windows, you would never know anything had happened at all. The "devestation" is really limited to exactly what you have seen on CNN. However, there are hundreds of homes in the Northridge area that were damaged enough to require major repairs, and last I heard, 300 people were still in the hospital with serious injuries. But for most of us outside the epicenter, it's life as usual again… except for the fact I get a little nervous everytime I hear the rumble of a truck drive by or a jet pass overhead.
