Dale, I think that dongle protection *can* be doable, at least IMO. Martin Hash, I think, had the right idea. Basically, he used a key disk protection scheme out of the box. If you wanted, for a nominal fee, he would send you the latest version (and Martin used to upgrade his software quickly) with you name, address, and other vital information (I've heard tell of credit card info, but not sure of this) embedded in the app. The "personalized" version was, of course, no protected. I can deal with this, but its far as I can go. I know of two users that have use for both Scala and Brillance, but have bypassed them due to the copy protection scheme. //Jonathan, \\//via AutoPilot
