Jim, I think that the sentiment here is that by voting with purchasing dollars, users might be able to influence vendors into a more enlightened approach. Some folks will simply not be able to use certain apps due to conflicting dongles – I have seen this happen over and over on the PC, when someone has tried to use too many chained parallel port plugs; or, they have run into interrupt problems when installing more ports expressly for use with dongles. Truth is, that dongles cause problems. I would, however, stipulate, that users should appreciate the problems with selling software, and meet the vendors half-way. Of course, that will take some cooperation from the vendors, and I think that is what all the negative talk here is trying to inspire 🙂 //Jonathan, \\//via AutoPilot
