They publish books that start from zero and take you all the way through a program and that first point ('start from zero') to my eyes is the problem. If you have a pirated piece of applications software and get stuck without the manual you just buy a book on it (which in some cases is even better than the original documentation) for maybe 20-30 Dollars and away you go!
