Diane, Are you talking about the requirements for running a program, or the storage capacity of the actual floppy disks themselves? If you're talking about the floppies…while yes, you can use the HD disks (1.44 Meg in an IBM machine)…you'd be wasting your money. Most places I've seen carry both the HD disks and the DD disks (760K in an IBM). The DD disks are what you really want. The 2.88 Meg disks probably won't work right…but I don't know that for sure. If you're talking the memory requirements of a program….that's true, since the Amiga is a multi-tasking machine…it's not at all unusual for a program to require higher amounts of memory…it may have to "live" with some other program also running. That, plus the fact that most programs try to do as much as they can…thus higher memory requirements. Don
