Hilary, The problem is that whoever sold you the Rev 6.0 motherboard in the first place (I got the impression you bought it as a replacement motherboard) did you a great disservice. Commodore replaced 6.0 motherboards with 6.1/6.2 boards for anyone who had a problem for quite a while — the 6.0 was a real troublemaker. If someone sold you a 6.0, I wonder if it wasn't a board pulled from a system that had had its board replaced… One thing I've seen cure some 6.0 problems is replacing the plastic 68000 chip with a ceramic 16MHz version. (Cheap) Don't know why it helps though.
