Ron, Your car analogy is incorrect – that is like the power switch to a PC. Some ARE keyed. And cars originally had a footswitch starter (after the crank went away, that is). Too, the key protects ME from SOMEONE ELSE whereas I have to pay for a dongle supposedly to protect SOMEONE ELS from ME with no real proof that such protection is necessary. Also, the ignition key does not degrade the car's performance or functionality. It doesn't prevent you from adding a turbocharger, or oversized tires, or airconditioning, or recaro seats… The two dongles I have degrade my existing systme by preventing me from using parts of it. I can't use a printer with the Amilink dongle engaged, and I can't use an alternate pointing device with the Real-3D dongle engaged, and in fact, I couldn't engage the brilliance dongle with the Real-3D dongle engaged. So I wold bee force to shut down to refonfigure hardware to use one program or the other in a multi-tasking machiine – Dumb, no? Now don't tell me you have to turn off the key, and remove it from the ignition in order to roll your windows down!!! :^} wmc – via Autopilot!
