Serialize all copies, and have some logik you guys can activate to determine the original source of the illegal copies and the prosecute the SOB. As long as it doesnt hurt they'll keep doing it. The reason Scala sales went up may be because they started marketting it themselves instead of through GVP, came out with a significant upgrade that made it more stable and desireable, and provided a product for a niche were there was no other. But a paint program? Be like you guys putting a dongle on PageStream. Gold disk would start selling more ProPage and Pagestream sales would fall. Here is the story from another board: DC was demoing the product a month before release to the FAUG (I think that is in the SF area). The rep asked how many wer planning to buy it. 10 hands went up, while some people in the crowd next to the president of DC said they'd just get a copy from a freind. The product then delayed an extra 3 weeks while the dongle was added.
