Andrew, Thanks for your reply. What you've outlined sounds like the conclusions I had drawn for myself. Does DPaint (Or Personal Paint) have the ability to rotate text? My wife would like the ability to have text running around the border of the page. If she can rotate text in DPaint, she could make a "brush" (is that the right term?) and stamp it around the page after rotating it. AmigaWorld had a review of Personal Paint this month. It seems to be going for a little less money than DPaint, but doesn't have animation capability. Also, should I go for a program that has AGA capability even though I don't have an AGA Amiga yet? What kind of upgrade programs have Electronic Arts and whoever wrote Personal Paint had in the past? Steve
