Well sir, I don't know what to tell you. The hardware on my video card does not support certain modes, such as 640x480x256, 640x400x256 and so on. All the VGA modes are supported by the hardware, but the SVGA modes need the Vesa tsr. Without it, I can only get Anipro and 3ds to run in their default mode of 320x200x256. With or without any memory manager. Perhaps your video card does support these extended modes, perhaps not. Chances are, emm386 is not detecting a certain block of memory as being usable for high ram, so it skips it, leaving it open for your video card to use. QEMM on the other hand, is finding it and turning it into high ram, which is then causing a memory conflict between your video card and whatever QEMM stuffs in there. Many hi-res cards require this area of additional memory to run properly. The area to which I am referring is b000-b7ff. With my Viper, I have to exclude everything from a000 to c7ff, and I can't let the page frame sit on top of the video rom like Stealth mode wants it to. I do sincerely hope you get your problem solved. However, I can offer no more advice based on my experiences until I know a little something more about your setup. Have a good day.
