I forget where I put the doc in this forum, but in the AmigaVendor forum I know that it is under the impulse library. I use CrossDOS on my set-up. You are right that it is an adventure, but if you follow some simple rules (out-lined in my text file.) you should be ok, though I still do not feel safe enough about it to put 'perminant' files on the shared drive. (I have had to reformat it twice in two days) I just use it as a quick way to transfer files right now. Tony
