#PCMCIA specs, etc.
I'd like to get information on the following two subjects:
1) Specs on the PCMCIA slot in the Amiga 600 and 1200: specifically,
whether or not it uses Card Services and if so what the processor bindings
are; if not, how the card is accessed – via device driver or other method;
what would be required in the driver.
2) What types of PCMCIA devices are currently available and usable in
these slots (meaning, I can plug it in, install the proper driver and go.
Any information on these topics will be greatly appreciated. It could
maybe possibly have a chance of getting a major PC hardware vendor
involved in the Amiga market (no promises!). I have the RKM devices manual
but it doesn't cover PCMCIA. Thanks!
