I know that file size can be rediculously large for print but I have had fine results printing 1280 x 960 .tif files on a Kodak dye-sub printer for proofs. These .tif files usually zip down to around 1.3 Megs. For that I'd send it via modem. If I get this Image Lab under way I'll be looking to buy a dye-sub printer for in-house proofs. Do you have one? I haven't seen anything but the Kodak Colorease so I was wondering if any other mfgr's quality is comparable. I will probably demo the Tektronix first to compare but I don't know if there are others worth looking at. For finished architectural print work what is the preferred printer/plotter? IRIS? If you have other print methods that work well for architectural stuff I'd love to hear about them. Thanks again, Bob PS. Can't wait to get this Image Lab started so I can order the DPS PAR from you!!
