Bill,
That is a somewhat misleading statement in the AmigaDOS manual. Note
the description says that it sets the ATTENTION flag(s), which in most cases is
the same as clicking on the CLI and entering the keystroke yourself. However,
it's the CLI that gets the BREAK signal and the program will/won't intrepret it
depending on whether it reads the ATTENTION flags or not.
