#Anim7 or Anim8
Erik, I'm glad someone with experience is trying to sort out the
animation playback puzzle. Don't forget to consider the animation
format used for playack. Anim7 is excellent. I hear the SCALA
Anim32 format is great on AGA anims and anims in general. What about
DCTV anims? Opal anims? (I can give insight to Opal anims which are
pretty darn good except lo-res). One of the best animation programs
for pre-AGA animations is Pageflipper plus F/X. Unavailable however.
Then there is the consideration of Amiga model used, which I see
you're working on. I would be glad to offer any assistance to your
project on anim speed/anim quality. I have an A2000/040 and
Opalvision.
Erik, have you considered this? What is better: an animation at high-res
non-interlaced or lo-res interlaced. The speed I believe is about the same but
I have heard differing opinions on which is better in quality for video tape.
I can't decide myself.
