I can sympathize with your wife. I recently wrote a book on greenhouse gardening (Greenhouse Gardening Companion, pub by Fulcrum) and I wrote it on excellence! My publisher told me not to worry that they would handle the translation to their microsoft word. It was a disaster! I had to go over the whole book to find all kinds of little sneaky mistakes where a single letter would be wrong, or a whole word would be missing. My advice, don't let the publisher do your transfer- do it yourself or have it under your control! I have never tried cross dos, but using an older version of WP for amiga might be worth pursuing. For future writing I have added an AMAX board to my amiga and intend to use WP right on my amiga. I love science fiction and would love to see your wife' s finished product. Best of luck!
