Forget the license. Most people don't understand copyright. Anyone smart enough to use a computer should understand that they're ripping off someone else's work when they copy software. On the other hand, I've tried to hammer this concept into my relatives over Thanksgiving dinner – even though they can understand that *I* make my living selling software, even though at least one of them uses pirated software to make money on the side, they still think it doesn't hurt anyone when they copy software.
