Joe: Some quick answers. Facade does not require AME. It uses its own built-in modeler so that the entities it creates have intelligence. For example, a wall knows that a window "belongs" to it. If you move the window, the wall adjusts acordingly. Models created with Facade are render-ready. Facade was designed to work with programs like 3D Studio. Just DXF your model into 3DS and render it. That's how we produced our latest advertising image. The model took less than 15 minutes to create in AutoCAD with Facade. We then imported it into 3DS and immediately rendered it. No sweat.
