I really need to work this out. The channels are set the same. I notice that when I use the keyboard I play any patch that I dial on the Proteus but when I click onto a patch in a bank it switches the proteus immediately back to its first patch which is a piano. It seems that the driver is not sending a patch change command. I am trying to study the driver…I would assume it was written correctly but it sure does not seem to work. In my Bars&Pipes I can use the quick patch to hear the various sounds but if I change the patch list it lists other patches but uses the main list (changes patch names but does not again change the patch. This will be OK if I stick only with my original 0-127 patches and make no new changes…rather defeating the purpose of a library! I appreciate your and hopefully Adam Mitti's help, and would welcome hearing from someone who successfully has used the proteus driver. After weeks of trying to solve this one I am thinking it is a defect in the driver.
