Marcel, It's an older unit, but a very nice one. It was top-of-the-line when I bought it, but has been discontinued. The make and model are RCA VKP-950. It's a VHS Hi-Fi Stereo deck with 7 heads; (5 video heads and 2 audio heads). It's a docking system. It looks and functions exactly as a tabletop model, but you can remove the transport on the right side and take it with you. It records and plays at SP, LP, and SLP (EP) speeds. It has On-Screen programming and records 8 events up to one year in advance. It also has a memory counter with elapsed time and a great remote. On the audio side, it has stereo linear tracks with NR similar to DNR. That is, the stereo tracks don't have to be encoded in order to beneift from it. As usual, the Hi-Fi tracks are recorded along with the video. Besides Audio Dub and Video Dub, it also has two input level faders that you can use instead of the Automatic Level Control. On playback, you can select if you want to hear the Hi-Fi tracks only, the stereo linear tracks only, or a Mix of both. It's a great deck, especially considering its age.
