Jonas, The same thing happened to me about a week ago. It was a single object with no links. It was listed as being there, and I could select it by name, but it would not show up on the display. I don't remember the details, but I think it happened after a merge but didn't notice for a few minutes that one of the merged objects wasn't showing up. I was just doing some tests on the file and didn't really need the AVO (Amazing Vanishing Object), so when I was done, I just reopened the previous file and went on my way. If I run into this again, I'll let you know. David
