I just purchased a 14,400 baud modem and was wondering if it is cheaper to get threads from the forum in 9600 baud, or 2400 baud. Since 9600 baud costs twice as much, but goes four times as fast, it should be cheaper, but it seems that a lot of time is spent with no text coming down the line. Has anyone done tests to check this out. I realize that for files from the library, the 9600 baud is definitely best, but what about use for the forums? Thanks for any input. Dennis
