#3D-Morph,diff # of vertc
All,
— 1st some history…
I am trying to do a '3D-morph' of two 3D objects (a competitors logo into our
logo). In doing the tutorial and reading the manual on 'morphing' I saw a note
that stated that in order to 'morph' one object into another both must have the
same number of vertices. Both objects are available to me in 3D-ACAD drawings
and I use Visual Link to port them over to 3DS (by the way, the port works very
well).
— The question…
Is there some way in 3DS to make the two different objects have the same number
of vertices (interpolating where necessary)? If not, any other ideas to get
the '3D-morph' effect on two objects with different number of vertices.
Thanks,
Al Dass
P.S. If you hadn't already guessed, I'm kinda new to 3DS… kinda.
