It occurs to me what may be confusing people is the mention of these new
features as "plug-ins", plus the mention of other, separate IPAS introductions
from third-parties. For instance, besides XAOS Tools' Rapture, Schreiber is
showing their new Imagine Puppeteer add-in. Autodesk is also helping to
promote third-party products, and may lend some marketing support. All of
these obviously enhance the value of 3D Studio to current and potential users,
nailing down more sales for Autodesk. Which should be a good thing.
