Bill, Very insightful. It is my understanding that the IK implementation is from Shreiber and not from YG. If I'm wrong and I hope I am, than I am delighted, amazed, etc. that Gary & co. have come up with such a great new release. If instead the release is simply a number of bundled packages from various manufacturers, then while it may be a step forward, it isn't without a number of large drawbacks. I've talked to a couple of people who are at Siggraph and they seem to feel that the IK and other "plug in" features are simply IPAS programs like all the other IPAS programs. I really do feel strongly that it makes a phenoenal amount of difference who owns and maintains the code as well as how the code will be handled beyond the initial release. Paul
