For your benefit, we have highlighted the key messages of the release:
-With the addition of support for Windows (3.1, NT and in future Chicago),
tighter integration with 3D Studio, and Texture Mapping, the CDK R2 is
staking its claim as the most powerful VR tookit for Windows.
-The CDK will now be available on an OEM basis, via Autodesk's Component
Technology Business Division, Ithaca software; in the case of OEM sales, a
run-time fee will be applicable.
-VR is a strategic technology to Autodesk, as it represents the next step
in design automation as well as the ultimate in multimedia technology.
