For even the most complicated miters you should give the good 'old
Lofter a try: Create the profile(s) and the room's/building's
perimeter in AutoCAD, export them to the Shaper and Lofter
respectively and there ya go – a perfect molding, cornice, wall
section, or what ever that wraps around/within the building – perfect
miters every time and just as accurate as AME since you created the
profile and path in AutoCAD (just a whole lot faster with a lot of
time remaining to try more variations and options).
Now Roof forms – those can be a time consuming. After looking at
FACADE a little closer today I would say that it holds a lot of
promise in this area as one of its features.
