Hello, Someone asked me to post info about our new IPAS routine…. Dynamic Motion Module is a physics based KXP for 3D Studio. Once in the keyframer, you simply call up our KXP and input data. For objects, you can set mass, elasticity, acceleration, velocity, angular velocity, and drag. Global factors of gravity and wind can be set as well. Once the variables have been set, they may be applied to any or all of the objects in the scene. Clicking on the Generate Scene button will calculate all of the motion files. Objects can be either dynamic, or key framed, and collisions may take place between them without problems. Key framed objects are treated as though they have infinite mass. The IPAS version of DMM has greater flexibility than our currently shipping version for LightWave. For example, within IPAS, we could calculate collisions and responses on an object as it morphed from one shape to another. DMM uses a complex point-to-polygon collision detection process, so objects of any shape may collide and react properly. The product retails for $399.95 and will ship on or before October 1, 1994. For more info please call me at 800-365-1002. Brent
