Is anyone interested in a C programming support library. It's the kind of thing everyone does for themselves, but I'm so good that I thought others might want to benefit <g>. There's not much to it at present, but these are the kind of things planned: * indicates work in progress and nearing completion – * Improved interface to 'low-level' system routines, eg. memory allocation and management – String compression, with a number of algorithms to suit different types of data – 'Resource' handlers, for bitmap data etc. – Database routines – relational or hierachical (I haven't decided yet) engine – Registration Database engine – Anything else anyone might care to suggest. I have just one problem – pity me, for I am poor. I use an oolllddd Lattice v4.01 cause I can't afford anything else. I am unable to test whether or not the object produced is linkable with current SAS object. If anyone is able to test this for me, or would like to be involved in 'beta' testing the library (places shall be limited to the first dozen or so replies), let me know via return. If anyone knows of someone trying to off-load an unwanted current version of SAS, let me know, I may be in a position to take it off their hands.
