Several of my collegues and I have had this problem over the last several weeks. In some instances the AVO won't even render, even though it's listed in the object list. In one bizarre case, all that would show up in the KF were some diagonal lines which OVERWROTE THE VIEWPORT BOUNDARIES. This turned out not to be a hardware problem, b/c I checked the bad file out on other machines. I zipped it up and e-mailed it to Gary Y. All he said was that the 3D object was corrupted, but that 3DS couldn't have done it. But I'm not sure what else could have. Frank Vivirito has a theory that this happens after shelling to DOS or Animator Pro, but so far I haven't tested this. This has been quite a problem for me.
