Thanks Gerald, I left a message for "snapper" and was told that CPR no longer supports 1.3. I have given up the search for a CD driver that will work with 1.3. I guess my trusty A1000 will have to attain door stop status. (And my daughter's A500…) Ah well, I now have an A2000 wiuth 2.1 installed <trumpet sounds in the background> and that will have to do until next month when 2.1 is replaced with 3. whatever….. Seriously, now I have the CDROM player playing Eric Clapton (unplugged… ironically) and I guess that will have to be enough. :') If anybody can help with the 1.3/CDROM… I remain, Slogging Down the Digital Dirt Road …Going to Kansas City Hal
