Grant, <<When I upgraded to a 3000 …( at least 5MB, 10 is better). >> Don't I wish! I know what you mean. However, I got the 3000T at the Commodore fire sale: only CA$1100! Then, this spring, I put in an additional Meg of Chip and 4 Megs of Fast, my poor Visa is now gasping for space. <<No problem regarding the Franklin demo. I just thought you might be interested as it is up you alley.>> >> Definitely, but alas, TOO far up 🙂 Hey! A thought has just >> struck me (gong-g-g-g-g 🙂 : do I need all that memory to load it Currently I have all the files archived on four double-density diskettes (and I'm going to write a installation script to make it easy to set up). There are three animations that are about 500-900K in size. You might be able to see the show without the the animations and then look at the anims separately with a player. I believe all the audio tracks spool off the HDD. However, you would still have to free up 6 megs of disk space to install it. 8( What type of XT portables do you have? Are they laptops or luggables? How much are you asking? >> You're using AVPro aren't you. Rats. Nope. ImageMasterR/t. >> Boo hoo. Sniffle. Ya. But hey, end of the month is bid closure time on >> CBM. We can (try?) hope! I'm watching and waiting but I have little hope. I think anyone who goes for it will either use the parts, not the whole or will try to use the whole but won't be able to afford to support it. I am happy (for the most part) that I was able to work on the Amiga and do things first years ahead of the rest but things are moving too fast in the PC world for the Amiga to catch up. However, I will still use it for as long as it runs… Sad but I think it is true… But then, we still talk about picking up an AGA system so you never know… Andrew ICAM ActiveMedia Development
