"While trying to copy several hundred MB of data from my PAR drive on the 3000 to a 1GB SCSI drive on my 4000, it would lock up randomly after 50-100MB of data. I've noticed the same problem when trying to back up to the DAT drive on the 4000." This sounds identical to my ARCnet's behavior, although I haven't noticed it happening under 60MB. You read many megabytes of data from the remote machine and then the reading machine locks up (well, Workbench does, but Intuition is still working because I can move windows around). It's not related to DAT or Amiback. Sitting at my A3000, I copied the Toaster drawer (over 100MB) from my A4000 to my A3000's HD via Workbench. The 3000 froze after about 70MB. I tried booting with a plain Workbench floppy with Envoy installed, but still the same thing. I even tried re-installing my 2.04 kickstart file on the 3000 (it's an old ROM-less one). "What ended up being said in CMail about your FS version?" They're OK. I have filesystem 39.27 on the 4000 and fs 37.26 on the 3000. Do you have any partitions in international mode? -Chris
