Well, here is my problem. I've installed my drive into my A4000 and it works great. I have no problems with the drive itself. My problem is with the program that came with it that is supposed to check the drive to see if the cartridge has been removed or changed. The program is called CheckDC. According to the manual I am supposed to put that in my C: dir and put the following command in my startup sequence, "Run >NIL C:CheckDC DH0:", DH0: is the designator my the removable hard drive. Well, I've done that and it fails to recognize when I remove the cartridge, so when I put a different cartridge in the slot and try to access it I get a disk error. Basically, I have to reboot when I want to swap cartridges. I called Expansion Systems to get technical help and the guy who knows all about that won't be back to next week. Any ideas? -=Andrew=-
