#A1000 upgrade
Hello I'm new to this forum and to CIS. Glad to be here.
I have a A1000 and was wondering if it is possible to upgrade to to WB 2.1
without having Kwikstart installed?
I've had my A1000 since 1985, but have not used it much the last few years and
I'm trying to catch up on all of this stuff.
I read somewhere that the WB 2.1 upgrade is a software only package. So I
figured it had a Kickstart disk in it. (That tells you how long I've been
away). I've really had no need to upgrade, but I just purchased a Supra 14.4K
modem and read where anything above 9600 is not reliable with WB 1.3. So I
thought it was time to upgrade.
I've been looking for a terminal program that supports 14.4K. I'm using NComm
right now but it doesn't support 14.4K. Does term 4.0 support 14.4K? I
downloaded it but quickly learned that you need WB 2.04 or higher to run it and
that it doesn't work very well on a 68000 machine. Could somebody recommend a
terminal program that supports 14.4K?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
