Chris, Yes that is true . You need one V-box for each device. The interface runs from the serial port to the first V-box and then from that V-box to the next. You can chain up to 7 in all. I only use the one because I only have the one non-Visca port SonyR5. The V-decks have the Visca port built in. The V-box adds the visca port to Ctl-l devices. Sorry, Thought you were familiar with that.. Don't know about the DBLNTSC I never tried it. Rocky
