Chris, The cable is available from a few places, including Interactive Micro. I think it's $30. I too was wondering what the best solution to your system would be. If it was all CTl-L it would maybe be easier to decide. Looking at your stated options I only saw control on 2 decks. What will you do for the JVC non control L. Mediaphile's system would definitely be cheaper. It also will limit you to just using the products with their system. Still if you like it that's no problem. If you use the V-box's they'll work with a few systems, not just theirs. This may be a mote point to you , however. If you think you'll eventually upgrade heavily and get industrial decks etc. Then I'd probably say go as cheap as you can get the job done. You'll have to change at that point anyway. I always try to evaluate purchases : a. Is it good enough to not make me throw it . b. How universally useful is it. c. Am I going to have to chuck it when upgrading. d.
