The spider model illustrates model construction with primatives,
linking, pivot points, booleans, application of simple materials, and
applied lighting.
The suspension model is an introduction to the shaper and lofter –
illustrating model construction by stacking sections, use of the
deformation grids, and merging of mesh files (i.e. replacing
components of one file with components from another file (a time
saving technique because it lets you animate the simple to render
model and then replace the components with 'expensive to render'
versions)).
Is that enough data?
Sincerely n.
