Hi Roger: Yes, I told you about those Nasty CD apps (actually great apps considering that they are public domain. If I had it to do over I would ship with the new freely distributed <I think> Animator Pro player aniplay. It works on my machine – and I knew before it shipped that it wouldn't work on all of them. The apps I picked were the most robust I could get my hands on… I may come to regret putting any player on the CD. But for the moment I'm glad I did. This way, people that buy the book or get it as a training manual for a class can take the CD home or to the office and view the demo files – (maybe) and show them to their bosses. This may – I hope – inspire more purchases of 3D Studio. That was my ultimate objective. [Remember – I expect the book to be used as training curriculum which is why it has the tutorial format. I designed it for self teachers, ATC and dealer programs. Not every student will have a copy of 3D Studio, and especially one at home . . . .] Not that I'm the Least DEFENSIVE about the CD. Not at ALL. REALLY. Love. n.
