Jeff, Well, I wish I'd known about you earlier! I hope to go back, but not till it's warmer. IRD licensed a patent that I have, along with some colleagues, on a fiber-optic weight sensing device. We are working with them on some spinoffs – kind of business sensitive at the moment… BTW, when I was there in December I showed them a video tape we produced on some of our fiber-optic technologies. It had a series of animation segments I did – they SEEMED impressed (they asked for a copy of the tape, anyway <g>). I offered to work with them on the animation end if they decided to put together a showcase video tape of their own. The thought occurs to me just now that you might be more suited for working with them, since you live in the same city. Should I steer them your way if they ask, or would you like a contact name to 'drop in' on? I'll be sure to hollar if I head that way again. The first time I went to Saskatoon it was in May.
