>>"Net Start Workstation" from the DOS prompt. << Yes this gives me access to all other computers that is currently running windows, not those that are running dos. Other computers cannot access my disk as I'm in DOS. The conclusion is that the only communication that works is Windows<->Windows and Dos->Windows. Windows->Dos and Dos<->Dos doesn't work. If I'm wrong please tell me how to do Dos<->Dos communication, I have tried it for some time !!!! -M.E
