Hi Tony, first off…Welcome to the AmigaForum! We have many members here that are using the Amiga for DTV and related applications. If you can tell us what your needs arem I'm sure we can help. There are many software packages available, as well as hardware that are very well suited for DTV and such. To mention them all and describe them, would take forever (well….almost) <grin>. But, to answer one of your questions, The Director which uses a script language, much like BASIC, does do dissolves. That along with wipes, fades, custom wipes, color cycling, animation, sounds, built in text routines, etc. GreG
