Hiya Connie: Perhaps I'll get some flak for this, but I really like my CalComp Drawing Slate. _Perfect_ mouse emulation (something I haven't found in any other dig.) as well as great tablet functionality. It does have both absolute and relative modes. I particularily like the cordless 16 btn puck for both AutoCAD and 3DS and the pressure sensitive stylus for Fractal Design Painter (& X2) and Fauve Matisse. One of the most cool things about it is that it's only 1/8" thick all the way around … meaning that it really takes no desk space. You can write on it without fear … it's really durable. Setup is a breeze … I just installed one for my partner, the setup for _all_ modes and programs takes about 5 minutes and all work perfectly (whew !). Hope this helps … fire away if I missed anything you need to know ! |-\\/ (another Wisconsinite ! <g>)
