I also just purchased Painter2/X2 and am looking to upgrade my tablet. I'm
currently using a Summasketch II+ that I purchased for use with 3D Studio &
Animator Pro. I would *not* recommend buying Summa without verifying it works
in the applications you need it for, regardless of claims by the Summa OR the
various software reps as to its compatibility, let alone functionality. Overall
I'd say it is, at best, adequate.
I'm also looking towards the Wacom. I'll be interested in hearing how your
research goes.
