#.tga to YUV
After much difficulty, and assistance from a number of good folks here, we have
finallu been able to render 3DS3 directly to our A-66. However, it is far from
perfect. We are dumping component into our Composium first. We obviously do
not want to tie-up our $250 K box for such purposes.
Apparently, what we need now is a utility to convert .tga files to YUV so we
can squirt them directly to the A-66. Do you know of such a beast? If so, we
would love to know about it.
Rendering directly to disk recorder is a wonderful thing. As a test, we
rendered an animation to a Betacam BVW-75. It took 20 minutes from our
machine. We then rendered the same animation to the A-66 and it took 6
minutes.
Any info will be greatly appreciated. Once we finally get all of this
resolved, we will post appropriate info here.
