What's funny is that as programs like Wavefront get easier for non-programmers
to use, 3DS introduces new levels of sophistication that bring it's quality up
to par with Wavefront (et. al.) yet require the kind of programming extentions
that made Wavefront unique but nearly inaccesable. It'll be a bit of a
tightrope walk but my guess is that Yost will pull it off and keep 3DS balanced
between right and left brain dominance.
