Don,
People have really gotten into impact craters since 1980 when the
dinosaur/meteorite connection was proposed.
I can think of two impact craters in roughly the same area: the Sudbury
structure is in Ontario, and the Manicouagan crater (spelling?) is in Quebec I
think. You can find more about their ages, sizes, etc. in a library.
