#Can't find CD-Rom
Offhand, I'd guess that it is due to some interaction between certain CDROM
driver software and the calls you use to determine the active drives in the
system. Perhaps some CDROM drivers don't report as active drives until they've
been activated by at least one call, including activation such as a "dir f:" or
"f:" or "cd f:\foo" call from the user at the DOS prompt. I'd submit it as a
bug for QA to test. 🙂
