What you've asked opens a whole can of worms. Basically, it helps to have your software (each image program you're using) properly gamma-calibrated to the monitor you're using so that an image in one program will look the same when loaded into another. I don't have PhotoShop, so I don't know which command to use to calibrate your monitor — though I suspect it must have one. (Maybe someone else can jump in on this.) When it comes to getting your printed output to sync with what you see on the computer monitor, trial and error seems to be the best approach. Since monitors display color as illuminated light, while paper displays color as reflected light, you're never going to get an exact match. I've seen various software approaches to solving this problem (can't remember their names, sorry), but I think experience is the solution. – J
