Murph', I agree that it would make sense for this particular outfit to migrate to a more mainstream product like AutoCAD. But this particular person was convinced that using ClarisCAD on a Mac gave him an advantage over his competition. He claimed he could produce drawings several times faster. Who was I to argue, having never experienced the speed and power of ClarisCAD. It must have been a great product. Too bad nobody bought it <g>. There are upgrade offers galore for anyone owning ClarisCAD. Microstation, Ashlar Vellum, MiniCAD (sounds like a powerful product <g>) and AutoCAD all have offers. I'm sure everybody else does as well. One question. If it is no longer a *live* product, is it still copyright protected, or does it revert to public domain? J.F.
